Here We Go!!

Here is the master bedroom with all things packed up.

The entryway all packed up.

Our last visitors in Fallon. Tyler, Charlotte, Emmaline, Oliver and Tucker.

Ollie wanted to have me sent this picture to the mover so that they could remember him.

The new residents. These caterpillars are the hummingbird moth. They did a though job at eating the Mexican primroses. They really were ratty looking when we left.

We stopped in Utah but we didn't get any pictures. Guess we were really busy. We stayed overnight with Charlotte. Tyler is in Texas. It was a great sleep.
We then went up to Alyssa's and Anna shared her bed with us. Anna also had a birthday when we were there. I have had a painful stomach ache for several days so I was occupied. But it was fun to visit with them. Emma's birthday was that Monday and we got to sing to her also.
Then it was off to North Platte Nebraska and the next day we got to Michigan.

WHAT ARE THESE THINGS?????

We are here!

Lansing Michigan Rachel and Soap. We stayed 2 days and loved every minute of it. We had been traveling with a thunder storm. Sometimes out running it only to find the truck wet in the morning, so at Rachel's we got out some suitcases and washed the clothes that got wet.

The mosquitos in her yard are very healthy guys.

THIS my friends and family in the west is a OHIO rest stop. It was more like a mall. There were like 30 toilets or more flushing all at the same time. Amazing so I says to the attendant lady. Something to the effect like this is the nicest rest area I have ever been in etc. Well, she goes to the security guard and said something in her native language (Ukraine) and he, who is about 6'4 or more and asks me how come I was taking pictures in the bathroom. OOOH, how embarrassing..... I denied it. And so she said oh not her something something like the bathroom.... blah blah. I'm nervous he tries to explain aaaah, anyway a lady was taking pictures, why we don't know but it wasn't me.
We are in Virginia now and enjoying Micah and Stephanie. We will go to church with them tomorrow and head down to Norfolk on Monday. Our Fallon House is sitting empty. We have 2 Real Estate Agents watching it and we will see what happens with it. Good Times.

HUNTZINGER FAMILY REUNION!

Well the reunion was great and we are home getting ready for the next thing to happen in our event filled life right now. So here is how the weekend went.

Who would these headless people be? Right Jake and Emmaline with the first captured lizard.

Tammy saw the damaged chairs and then found fabric to replace it and did all the work herself. Well, LaVar did help some.

The Coloma Resort in California had a unheated swimming pool. The kids liked that but it was really cold.

Then there was the American River, it had really slimy rocks to manage if one wanted to walk in the water.

But Max had fun in it.....

and Oliver like it!

So did Timothy and an unidentified hooded person.

This is how we slept.

And how we woke up

And how some were still sleeping, like Evan.

But Savannah and Sam were awake,

But not Aynsley

Hadley and her cat and Emma and Tucker are the only other ones awake.

This is just the first installment of pictures, hope to post more later. Its got to be enough for today though because the packers come tomorrow. Whew hoo! That is always just a high stress day no matter how much one plans, there is just too much stuff. I have sorted for weeks the little stuff and there are still places I haven't been, things I don't know what to do with, and just plain too much!

Take Me Home... to the place I belong.....

Like the song of John Denver sings about "West Virginia" but we know its just Virginia. These are pictures of a going away party. We squelch one offer and thought that it was done but the ladies got together for an afternoon party. Life is so busy this time of year, girls camp, scout camp , and on and on that we thought it would probably be best just to wish us good-bye and that would be just fine. ( Keep in mind I am a person who has had 2 going away parties in my lifetime where no one came.... uh, now just why would I want to try that again.) Anyway this one was well planned and just great. The setting was fabulous too.
On another note: we had a realtors tour this morning that went well, but I was so anxious, one man was heard to say, "We're not in Fallon anymore".
Others told us they saw it before we owned it and weren't anxious to come and see it again. She was amazed at it all the changes. They didn't see so many things about the house and I didn't get to explain to all of them about the insulation and the audio/visual stuff in the garage etc. All of that is in the write up about it though. But no one mentioned the broken glass in the front door either so that is good.
Tomorrow is Friday the 13th but I would swear today was, so many mishaps, so little time.

Alyssa and her family and Tyler and his are due tonight. We will go to California tomorrow and meet up with Tim and his family at the reunion.
We do now and soon will miss all of you that aren't there.
Soooo glad we will get to see Jaim and Jody, Rachel and Greg and Micah and Stephanie on our way to our new home. Where we intend to be VERY HAPPY.
This part is always the hardest. Just before you get truly gone. No the hardest may be when you are there but not settled yet. No friends can't find stores, doctors, dentists...anything....so yeah, Stephanie, Rachel, Laura, is that the harder time? I'm ok now thanks for listening, things are going to be just great.

Some of Us Have to Work Harder....

We have enjoyed Hadley's reading video so much, I thought I would give you "one from our files". When we visited DeHart's last I woke up to see Evan doing this and thought it was pretty funny. Steph this is for you, I know you miss this little guy pretty much. He is sooo funny.

We are getting ready for the Huntzinger Family Reunion next weekend. Hope to see many of you there!! We will surely miss those that aren't.
