Billy Carter

When we were in Virginia this last time we asked about Billy. Someone told us he wasn't feeling very well and wasn't at church that day, so we decided to go and visit him. The last we knew about him was that Micah had tried to send him a wedding announcement and it came back, so we weren't sure he was still with us. We weren't even sure he would remember us it had been so long. He was showing us around the place where he lives and was telling Micah he remembered the camp out they had in our back yard. He had never been camping and it became important to him. Mike Sessions came as the adult companion since LaVar was out of town. I am glad he was able to do that, since that is what he mentioned it obviously was a good memory. Billy is a good friend and though he had a slight cold, he seems healthy and doing well. He told us he was 63. His brother still comes every month to take him for a haircut and his sister-in-law still does his laundry.
